Arrived on the Lake around 5:30am , the weather was windy, raining off and on. I tried a black rooster tail. As soon as it hit the water, got a hit, reeled the fish to the boat, but it broke off just as I brought the german brown to the boat, By the time I reached for the net it broke the line, giving another angler a chance to catch him. The lunker was around 5-6 lbs, but I happen to have only 4 lb test line on the reel. I was disappointed and discussed with my self, in using such light line. But, this is a great place to fish, no jet skiers, water skiers or people trying yo make fools of themselves. I will definitely will make a return trip to this lake.
