My son and I decided to brave the wind on fathers day. We rented a boat w/motor and headed out. 4 hours to fish. We both were trolling wedding ring worm combo w/a small weight.....nothing for a couple hours. Verrrry windy. My 10 yr was getting a little impatient, so i decided to anchor by the boat launch about 30 ft from shore. I set him up w/basic piece of worm and bobber. Probably w/in 2 minutes his bobber was under. he caught his limit easily by the time we had to get the boat back in. I unfortunately hadn't even had a bite. I was about to be skunked and out fished by my son!! NO WAY!!......5 minutes to go.. My bobber was dancing- finally I got one in. And was the smallest all day.........nothing like fishing w/your child......Today my son out fished his old man............I believe in the amount of time we were there, we as a boat caught more fish than those who were trolling. and more than those on the dock.....I witnessed my son become a fisherman today.. priceless fathers day. Thank you boy.
