Me and my brother went to round lake today and we fished right at the damn. Right away I caught a 9 inch bluegill and then another that was 7 or 8. Those were the only good sized ones. We also caught a few 3-5 inch perch( i don't understand why i am catching perch????) I also saw a few bass swimming around but when i casted it spooked them......also saw a few laying in the pebbles near shore. Going back soon to catch some bass. If you were wondering i used a worm with no weight or bobber, I just let it sink to the bottom.................but i got a strike every time before it hit the bottom.

Overall it was a fun time...........................except when we were skunked at Lacamas creek

The reason you are catching perch is becuase there are pearch in the lake and they saw your worm and liked it. Im no rocket scientist but i think thats why.
