Started out fishing about 9:30 am with neighbor Mike. Tried at North end of lake first using Powerbait drifting. We caught 2 that were about 14 inches. Fish are a bit skinny here as compared to lower lakes. Then trolled gang spinners with wedding rings. Caught lots of 7 inch fish and released. Went back toward the South end trolling different spinner types. Picked up 1 Kokanee about 12 inches. Got to the South end and Mike started getting lots of hits using a greenish yellow kokanee spinner with some worm and powerbait fish scent. So I switched to a wedding ring greenish yellow in color and worm with baitmate fish pheremone scent (bought at k-mart). within 2 minutes had a hit everytime. We both limited in minutes. At the south end of the lake near the boat launch seems to be the best fishing. Most are about 10 to 11 inches with some going to 14 inches. This lake received a fish plant of 244,000 fry last year. It should really be spectacular next year.
