Arrived at the lake about 7:15 and a half dozen bankers were already fishing. There were also about 6 boats on the lake still fishing by this time. The voices in my head told me to troll with pop-gear and a worm as usual. It was a cloudy, overcast gray day. Water temp at 62 degrees. It took right off for me with a limit in no time flat. My fishing partner keep mumbling some kind of expletive phrases which we can't mention here. He was having a slow start in his little corner of the boat. I had to quit fishing for fear of my life. By the time we left we both had a nice bag of brown's and bow's around 10:00 a.m. No bragging rights in size, just great keepers for the smoker. Keep a tight line till next time.
