We were on the lake at about 8:30 getting very few bites, went over by the point of rocks and caught 1 small mouth and 1 perch, nothing of good size. Got a call at about 11:30 that my dad was on the launch and wanted to come out, so we went in and got him. I decided that I was done, so I left and my dad and a friend Kenny went out and proceeded to fish for bass. As they worked their way around the west end throwing spinner baits my dad got a HUGE hit and then it rolled and they seen it was a tiger muskie, but at the same time the lure came out of its mouth. My dad reeled in quick and threw back into the same spot and it hit it again!!! This time it got it good right through the top of his mouth. It was about a 20 minute fight before the fish pulled them near the shore in the shallow area and the fish wouldn't fit in the net, so my dad JUMPED IN! and pulled the fish onto the shore so that they could get it into the front of the boat. When they finally got it into the boat it turned out to be 43.5 inches and just over 23 lbs!!! The biggest fish by far he has ever caught and he was trying to bass fish!
