I went out to Martha Lake (AM) about 7AM and there were about 5 guys on the dock already, so I decided to go and grab my pontoon and head over to Echo Lake. It was a nice morning, slightly breezy, nice and sunny. I trolled a Dick Nite spoon first, no action. Then I put on an orange and gold wedding ring, no action. I then tipped the end of the wedding ring with a Gulp worm and started getting some nibbles. I think I was down around 10-15 feet, just west of the launch. That's the only place I seem to be getting any hits. I had one on the line, but came off as I was trying to transition to reeling from driving the boat. I ony had orange lures, so I'll have to get some other colors. I left around 10AM with nothing. I may be back again, nice beautiful lake.
