Got a late start, was going to go to Chapman for a little night Silver fishing, but just decided to get on the water sooner, and went to Fish lake.
Started trolling around 7:45 and was the last one off the lake at 9:45. It would sure be nice if the County would put in a light or to around there, since it is a County owned and maintained park.
Averaged a bite about every 15-20 min. on average, but were stealing more bait than hooks. Kept one Brookie for putting a little variety in the next smoke batch. The one I kept was about 14-15" and had beautiful color.
Take mosquito repellent if your going to be out there after the sun goes down, I didn't, and I think I got home short a couple pints of blood.......

E-mail the county park department and request a light put in at the launch. It is worth a try, however the park is designated "day use", so I imagine that they will not pay any attention to it. Technically, the park closes at dusk.
I was out there last week and noticed the mosquitoes also. Later in the summer, the yellow jackets will be the issue. So far this year I haven't seen any yet.
