hey, It's austin, the eleven year old with some great lake and fishing tips! Lets get started. lacamas lake is one of the best lakes to be on because it has lots of fish. two thumbs up! battleground lake is horrible if you are fishing from the shore, there is a log right in the middle, so either try and cast from the dock and get as close as you can to the log and let your line sink to the bottom and then pull it up slowly. you usually get a bite while you pull your line up. all of the fish and big fish are by that log. The best option is to take a boat out by the log and fish right off the side . all of the big fish are below 15 feet. Lets move on to round lake. Round lake is the best place to get bluegill and perch around the shore and to get catfish in the channels. On to fishing tips the best bait to catch all fish are worms, especially perch and trout, but the best bait for trout is probably power bait, #1 the yellow corn kind #2 the orange kind and #3 the mixed color kind. some of the best hooks are, the three legged hooks. you should also try the rubber minnows with the extremely pointed hooks available at all stores. another good method would be to catch a perch and use it as live bait.
