Spent a quick hour out on Green lake tonight. This lake is always a hit for trout. I am trying to hone my drop shotting for bass skills. I stuck to that regardless of the result. And of course it was a no result night. I had to give it my best, because I always go to the worm and bobber in this lake when I become frustrated with whatever else I am trying to learn.
It was interesting to pass on..... this lake normally has a lot of fish on the surface in the evening, jumping etc.
Maybe we have hit warm enough weather that now the fish hiding in the depths. I only saw about 3 fish jump all night.
3 Stars only because I think this is one of the best lakes within 20 miles of downtown, in all directions. Although tonight it stunk.

Are there any pads on that lake anymore? Last time I was there it looked like they killed them all off..

There are tons of pads on the West side, 200 ft. deep. various areas on the South side with pads. But the West side is loaded. Lots of access points for a tube from shore, and shore fishing.
