My first visit to Silver Lake and I don't know why I would ever fish any where else. I only caught one bass but saw many 5 or 6 pounders leap out of the water like killer whales. This lake is huge and so are the fish. I caught my bass around old railroad pilings that that they tore down in the 1920s. I fished out of Silver Lake Resort in a rented boat with the whole family. I think this is the BEST bass lake in Wa state and my new fishing hole.

Yes they were bass, I didn't they jumped like that but I could see the whole fish from tail to the very wide mouth, I did see a couple carp coming up to the surface but nothing like a fat bellied bass jumping 10 or 12 inches out of the water. It was like seeing a stuffed bass on the wall only laying on it's side.
