WOW, the wind can sure be a force to reckon with on this lake! We got on the lake about 10 am and the wind was strong most of the day. There were calm times for about 30 mins here and there where we trolled with no luck, so we put into a small cove which was sheltered from the wind and we were plunking a worm on a wedding ring and we came up with some nice Smallmouths. It worked best when we threw towards the land from about 20' out and slowly reeled with the ring bumping the bottom here & there. We saw some awesome polywogs, too. For about 15 min. we just watched the hang gliders on the far end (away from Mossy Rock). We also saw a couple eagles. It was a good day in spite of the wind. This is not a lake for small boats, though. My 19' was feeling kinda small for awhile when we were trying to go against the wind. GUY

Thanks for the report.

Did you launch at Kosmos? How was the launch? Still Low?

We launched at the Tacoma Power Park by Mossy Rock. Water is down about 10-12 feet. One dock was in the water (out of about 6 dock lengths).
