I fished when I was a kid with my brother and then as an adult 20 years ago I fished for bass in northern California. When I moved back to my home state of Washington I thought I would try some fishing. I love to fish, but I can not catch anything. It is probably because I do not know how or what bait to use or where to go. I was told to go out to Vancouver Lake out NW Lower River Road and there is a park and "good fishing." I found the park...I fished with worms casting out into the lake and slowly retrieving the bait bumping the bottom. I got no fish, no bites. no follows. Nothing. I am so frustrated.
Is there good fishing anywhere near Vancouver? I was going to go to Mayfield, but it seems like a long way to go to get frustrated when I can just go to Klineline and get frustrated. Any suggestions?
