Well since I don't have a battery still for my trolling motor, and not sure how well it would do on this lake, I decided to try the dock from the Resort. The gal at the store said fishing has slowed down from the docs. I was also there at the wrong time of the day as it was about 3pm when I got there. I bought some worms at the store there which were pretty good quality crawlers. Its a $3.00 access fee to use the docks. I didn't catch anything cept weeds, got a couple nibbles from some smaller fish but they never swallowed the hook. Some kids came down with a parent and were noisily playing around as kids do...I didn't really mind as I wasn't really that heartily fishing. I'm glad I didn't bring the rowboat as I know my arms would have been really tired going from the public launch to the other end of the lake lol.
