I went out to Silver Lake around 7PM and started fishing the bottom and hadn't got any bites, so I ran to the car and grab my other pole with a floater. Started getting some small Yellow perch around 4 in. to 5 in. The sun was going down and I throw out my other line with night crawlers and dipped it. I caught a 14 and 1/2 inch Catfish. Nice fat belly on him, and I left my bobber out in the water and of course pulling in the catfish he wrapped around the other line. I was getting the Catfish on the stringer I noticed my bobber was going nuts. I reeled it in as much as I could and hand pulled a nice 9 inch bass out as well. I will post some pics later on tonight. Fun times! P.S. I had my daughter also is why I had to poles.

Since when is a 9 inch bass illegal to keep? The 14 1/2 incher was a catfish. I am pleased that this young man enjoys fishing enough to think a 9 inch bass is worthy of a photo published on the Internet. Keep on going and keep on having fun! Tight lines. BT
