Arrived around 1:00 in the afternoon with the wife and son and took the boat to the north end by the pump house and anchored there, there was only one other boat on the lake. We got a few nibbles there but left after about 30 min of fighting the wind. We decided to get out of the wind and went to a different location and boy was that a great choice. My wife threw in and about a minute later bam, she reeled in a nice fat 14 inch rainbow. We stayed in the same spot for 3 hours and caught 14 fish between the 3 of us, one short of our limit. All fish were between 10" -14", they fought and hit hard almost taking our poles in the water on a few occasions. We were really surprised at how aggressive the fish were in the afternoon and did not expect to catch that many that size. We used a combination of pink and green power bait about 2 feet off the bottom.
