I fished Rotary from 8 pm until close to dark (about 8:35) and caught one small bass on a root beer colored Rebel Wee R Bandit shallow water crankbait. I know people unfamiliar with Rotary who read this report will say "that's the dinkiest dink to ever dink a dink", but it's all relative baby, and from Rotary I feel this is a good fish. I went to Rotary two weekends ago to give it a try and it wasn't even worth getting my line wet. There were about thirty people there, about a dozen of which were swimming in "prime" fishing holes. So if you want to catch anything from Rotary it seems, fish it really early or really late Monday through Thursday (there were five others at the lake today, nobody swimming).
