my friend and I fished this lake two days in a row and fishing was real slow, we tried jigs ,plastics, top water, crankbaits, you name it we tried it. the first night right before dark Steve caught this 5lb bass and that was the only fish we caught. I through a plastic worm close to shore and it looked like a torpedo close to the top of the water came after my worm seemed like a 2 foot wave! my friend was like "what is that, a beaver" I said "no" that's hooked on my line. it had to be a 8lb bass or more. i had it hooked and it ran right to the boat at 100mph it seemed like. the hook came out and i lost it. all i know is it was big. the second night was the same story very slow, i landed the only bass of the night, this one at about 3lb+. the trips we have had here before were much better then this. will try again this weekend.
