hey I'm the first to write a report on this lake, its amazing more people don't fish it. i got to the lake at about 1pm, plunking off shore with eggs and a corky. caught a jack(21inches) and a pretty decent one for this lake(not sure on the weight but it was 32inches) there were about ten people where i was fishing but i was the only one that caught anything while i was there, they were using bobber and eggs though. i left at 2:45.

I know capitol, but where on the lake is there public fishing. I just moved to Tumwater and that lake is really close to where I work, I just thought the
lake is off limits??

You have to fish by Marathon Park, It's close to Tumwater Falls. There is a Public dock and people also fish under the 101 I 5 interchange bridge.
