My husband and I made our maiden voyage with our first camper to Conconully Reservoir and couldn't have had a better time. We stayed at Liar's Cove resort (where the people are just incredible). The owners Nita and Arnie were not only friendly but helpful and welcoming. After our story about the fishing you will understand why it is called Liar's Cove. During our stay we saw at least 10 5lbs or better trout pulled out of the beautiful cool water right off the dock. I myself hooked into a 5lb 8oz trolling with a crawfish lure. The day we left a little girl caught a 7lb 12oz beauty off the dock (dock fishers were using green or rainbow powerbait). Not only were the big fish there but people were catching there limit of good size 12inches or better trout everyday. Everyone we spoke to were return customers and talked about Liar's Cove and the Conconully Reservoir as if they had found a little piece of paradise in Okanogan County, I know we did. I would definitely recommend this destination.
