Well, Had to go out and try Silver again. Was hoping for the Front to come in and activate the Bassin action but it didn't happen. Got to the Lake at 9am. Went right to the Jig and Pig. Nothing. Went to the brush hog. Nothing. Went to the Senko. Nothing. That algae is really thick in places. Went to an Old rig that I used while I was in San Diego and was Bassin those Clear, Crowded lakes down there. Its a Mod C-Rig (That's what I call it) and you can fish shallow with it. Just a Carolina rig only you "Super" down size it. Sinker, Line, Hook, Bait. It just seems to pick up fish when nothing else seems to work. I rigged it with a 4 inch Black Power worm. Anyway, Picked up 5 Bass with it. It was still slow. Picked up 2 more bass at the end of the day pitching tubes next to logs. Nothing Big. Just a real slow day. Came home a little earlier than usual to wash the Green crud line off my Boat and run Clean water through the Motor and spray the reels down. Water temp out there was anywhere from 58 to 62. Just need for that bloom to go away so those bass can start getting ready for Winter.
