just got a bass boat. decided id take it to silver to test it out. got there before daylight started pitchin a jig on the shoreline, no bites. I'm still getting the hang of using the trolling motor and fishing at the same time so i didn't cover as much water as i should have. about noon we started panfishing in a channel and caught a bunch of perch and some real small bass on a red and white panfish tube trolling up and down the channel. my buddy caught some decent size perch and a nice trout on the same jig. we got to the boat launch and were about to leave but we noticed a few trailers in the parking lot and decided to go see where everyone else was fishing. we found them at the other end of the lake. we tried to talk to Dave but the wind was blowing to hard to hear. and since my trolling motor is severely underpowered we decided to go, left about 4 with no decent bass to talk about.
