I got to pass just before sun up put-in the boat while still dark and started rowing to my spot that i fish the most and on the way out with a # 16 RED BEAD LEACH, I was still striping line out and felt a tug at first i thought that it was a weed. until it started stripping line in a different direction as the boat . Put some breaks on the line and the rod bent over hard, this fish had some shoulders and was now on the run he pulled out line for maybe 70 yds. then turned towards shore and the boat ramp. I put some pressure on him and slowly worked it back to the boat with two more good runs. At the boat I grabbed the net to put him in and he took off again for another twenty yards. I worked him back again into the net. what a fish big, fat and long best Brown Trout ever caught here and been fishin here a long time 26in with my tape, but what surprised me most was how fat he was. Can't tell ya what he weighted, just well over 5lbs. Weather was cloudy and cold at the ramp close to 40*
