Got off work at lunch and the honey do list was short. So took the lab up to McMurray for some Crappie/Perch action. No crappies but did manage to catch a dozen or so perch. Only 2 were over 9 inches. All went back in the water. Saw one guy out there catch a trout I am guessing was 12 inches long. I found a huge school of fish around the bend. Dropped my Aqua View down to see what was going on. Tons of 6 inch perch down there. Nice day, dog got to go swimming. Might give Lake Stevens or Roesigner a try next.

Anybody out there having any luck on bigger perch/Crappie. I have been fishing the other side all summer long and haven't been hitting these snohomish/skagit county lakes very hard since this spring.

So how do you like that AquaView? Been thinking it would be fun to use, but have not talked to many people who actually have one.

I like it. It is probably more fun to play with than it is useful as a tool to help catch fish. Earlier this year I knew I was on a school of fish that were stealing my bait. So it helped me realize what they were. News for everyone on McMurray that I didnt know. There are bluegills in there. They are small but they are in there. I didnt know about those.
