Gotta love Fall fishing in Washington State.....wind, cold, occasional showers....perfect! Only the second time for me on this lake, my buddy wanted to take is new boat out and run it and I wasn't about to say no regardless of the weather!! Unfortunately he does not have a fish finder of any kind hooked up yet, so I cannot tell you what the water temp was, or what depth we were fishing exactly? I will say, that we were in the North end of the lake, fishing from the shoreline out to what felt like 15-20 feet..... Hit a couple pounders slow rolling spinnerbaits, but really got into them once we switched to jigs! Overall we boated about ten bass all in the 1-2lb range, missed several more. All fish were around wood structure in deeper water, and were not biting aggressively at all....you really need to feel your line, or watch for it "swimming".... Oh yeah......my buddy did manage one big fish.......a 6.7lb'er.......hehehe!
