after a successful opening morning pheasant hunt (limit in 45 minutes). we fished below mcnary dam with g-friend's dad and his buddy. drifting handmade double whammy's with gold spoon, red beads. they caught 4 keeper's, i was the "most bass" winner. i couldn't keep the wally's on! they were calling me something other then a future son-in-law, but the name calling didn't help me hook the wally's any better. we were way below dam at pumphouse hole. biggest wally caught was a nice 6lb'er. due to the steelhead/salmon/shad fishery, i would suggest fishing honey holes right below dam in a few weeks. any suggestions on good fish/camera? my new cell/camera pics come out blurry. a local said it will be another 2-3 weeks before the monsters get up to the tailrace and below freeway. I'm going to be there 1st week of November.
