Hit the water at about 9 AM with the fiance and the two mutleys, boated out to the approximate middle of the lake by Jerrys Landing and proceeded to jig for perch/crappie. We started with jigs with skirts tipped with worms but eventually did away with the skirts and just used worms. Drifted with the wind for the first 1-1.5 hours and then anchored and stayed put for about 2 hours in one spot and jigged up 34 perch total, one 9" bass and one 11" catfish. Several smaller perch and sunfish were also caught and tossed back and not included in the totals. Should have been duck/goose hunting but I realized the night before that I didn't have my federal duck stamp. Not the first time that stinkin' stamp boogered up my duck hunting plans.
