Slept in and hit the lake about 8:30 because my fishin partner was sick. Trolled the surface for a couple of hours and caught and released many rainbows and a few kokanee. Marked some fish between 60-80 feet. Set up the downrigger and went for those deep kokes hoping they were of some size. Well, I was not disappointed. C & R many up to 15", some were starting to get spawning colors. This time of the year this lake is always a joy to be on-- quiet and lots of HUNGRY fish. Left about 2 pm and got 5 more rainbows{c&r} on the way back to the ramp. Only saw 3 other boats and 2 people on the dock on the east side, I fished straight out from that spot most of the day. It rained most of the day so it was very peaceful out there! I saw 1 guy water skiing for about 10 minutes. YEE HAA !!
