Slow fishing this afternoon for me today. I didn't see anyone leave with any fish from the shore, saw a boat with a few small holdovers on the stringer....Other then that, it's pretty slow out there. Crowds have thinned from the shore, there was quite a few boats out there today which surprised me. We still fished with pink powereggs and couldn't get a bite in the 1.5 hours we sat out there....Good luck to all...

Sorry to disagree, I have been there with a friend. I got one, my friend two… so we ended with three good trout, 3 pounds the smallest, 4 the largest. The one thing however, the byte has a small window of time… all three from 9:30 to 10 AM. And they don’t byte power eggs… only power bait, orange, charthouse or white. I also had an extra byte around 2 PM, but lost it. The main secret, position, I’m not telling. There are about five small spots where the fish are concentrated, but you’ll have to find them.

They'll bite Power Eggs just fine. But I agree position is the main secret.

hey there ,this is "THE ROCK",and know the five secrets,ya you guys like to fish bottom,i fish worm,or lure, mostly worm,i do fine,if you wanna get drunk fish bottom near the rock at the end of the lake(north end)!,or just before the last corner or at the the corner on the right or middle of the lake, there is bass, bluegill, and trout, technique is required here though,as the blue gill will attack!the other three spots change thru out the year, sometimes go up the stream find bass, sometimes trolling near the park, but mostly of course near the boat launch,(is where they dump the fish!),but after that go across to the park fish that side, near the point, and there is a hole 2 inlets down, use your intuition but also ask a local:)!
"THE ROCK"..........FISH IT,,,,,,,AND THEY WILL...............
