Found this lake with the help of members here on the board, found the launch and was able to hit it within a few days. I got on the water just before noon and stayed on till around three'ish. It was COLD, WINDY, and ended up snowin sideways. I knew it was gonna be nasty, so I just threw on my snowboarding gear, including my boots so I was toasty and dry. I started with some new pop-gear and the old stand-by wedding ring of choice behind that tipped with a chunk of worm and powerbait. Nuttin doin. Decided to switch it up to my trusty old pop gear and the kokanee killer (with e-chip). It seems lately that the Kokanee Killer is the only thing workin, so of course I'm gonna use that at least for a bit, not that I put any stock into the e-chip itself, but I can't deny it works. Ended up with a fat 13 inch rainbow after a bit of trolling with that. I didn't get a picture, was too busy fighting the wind, and then once I got home, had to get ready for work Christmas party (so the woman cleaned and froze the fish; she's a keeper too). I'm pretty stoked to hit this lake in the spring for bass and everything else, looks like it should be pretty fun; that and I love lakes that are electric motor only. I soooo cannot wait to get my Scotty 1060 downrigger so I can troll a little deeper and see what's up down under. I'll definitely keep you posted and will definitely be back to this little lake for sure.
