Hit pond #4 Saturday and Sunday for about 3 hours each day to fish for the broodstock that was recently planted.Saturday I ended up with 2 trout about 6 lbs apiece, and Sunday I took 1 fish at around 9 lbs.Not the greatest fish for the barbeque but they should smoke rather well.A pirate patterned (red and blue)size 50 Hot Shot trolled on #2 speed on my Minnkota seemed to do the trick

Heading south of Yakima on I- 82 Take the Wapato Donald exit. When you reach the stop sign take a left and go over the top of the freeway till you reach the next stop sign which is the Yakima Valley Highway.Turn right and go about 4 miles or so you will see an old warehouse thats missing its roof on the right side of the highway.Theres a road there called Flint Lane. You turn right here and follow the road and it will take you underneath the freeway and to the parking lot of pond #4.Its a real bitch to launch a boat there you have to carry it about 20 feet or so.

They are fun to catch and you dont have to spend alot in gas to get there like you do to go to John Day Or McNary, and it doesnt consume my whole day.
