Went to Rufus Woods today. Kinda cold, 18 degrees. Fished from 8:30am to 9:15 am and had our limits. One 8 pounds, one 6 pounds, and 2 four pounds. Also lost two at the boat that were approx 5 pounds we guessed. What a day. Sunny and great fishing.

Rob G. No downriggers, just 1/2 ounce weight # 4 dodger 24 inches leader and black wolly bugger. Fish are on the surface to 15 or 20 feet

Hay bob you seem like the expert around this lake. Is it better to be fishing from bank or boat. Thanks Great catch!

Fish Man - I'm not an expert, I've only been there twice. Both times I've used my boat. We have seen people catch some decent fish from shore, but I think the boat is better, you can cover much more area by trolling.

Great fish, Bob. I'm envious, gashed a finger helping a friend install a service panel at his house so my wife and I won,t be able to fish this weekend, we were really psyched for it ,we,ll do a small lake near home (making our friend go fishing so he can help my wife with the canoe(her idea!) Finger should be healed in a month or so, we,ll try again, it's obviosly worth the long drive and cold temps, good luck and thanks for the info on bridgeport. bob rao

Hey Yakimasucks, we were only running 80 to 100 feet of line according to the counter on the reel. bob
