We hit the water at nine a.m. and began trolling. Used numerous types of flatfish, pop-gear, wedding rings, rapalas, even just trolling a night crawler, powerbait and nuttin. However, even though it was cold, it was a great day on the water. No wind (usually windy there for me every time), no rain (usually rains ((or snows)) on me too) and the clouds were pretty light. I had wanted to go to Sunday Lake and try for some panfish, but my buddy really wanted to try for trout and he lives out that way kinda anyhow, so Martha it was. After reading Joe's Sunday Lake report, doesn't look like I really missed anything on Sunday lake. I think next time we try for trout, it'll be at Cavenaugh as I've never fished there either and I'm always lookin for new waters to hit.
