My wife and I have had a little cabin fever lately, so we drove down to the boat launch.By the way, last fall a new dock was installed as well as the launch re-done and a new restroom facility.We are still getting the boat ready for spring so we just brought our lawn chairs and fished off of the new dock at the public launch.
We were both fishing with worms and marshmellows.It was raining and around 45 degrees , but we managed to land one rainbow about 11 inches and one nice cuttthroat 14 1/2 " long.
Next week we hope to have the boat ready and try some trolling.
There was one boat on the lake that came in for a break. They had not caught anything yet, but were excited at the fish that we had caught. We gave them some bait of ours and they soon went back out eager to catch some fish too.
