great day on the water.

fished a mud flat about 50 yards off the dock and nailed my limit of 5 trout on powerbait off the bottom in about 2 hrs. i also missed about 10 bites and lost 3 fish at the boat so it was a very fast paced day. right once the bait hit the bottom i would be getting bites. caught 5 fish, smallest being at 11 inches and largest hitting right around 14 inches and very very fat. these fish have been in the lake for about 3 weeks, so they are keying on the natural food sources and fattening up. had the trout for dinner tonight and it tasted great.

rainbow power bait is the key.

good luck

-Max

yes sir, make sure you get on that mud flat dude thats were the fish are at. position your raft about 50-60 YARDS not feet off the dock, then cast rainbow powerbait towards the dock about 20 yards and sit, you will catch fish like crazy

straight out from the dock! YOU SHOULDA ALIGN WITH THE DOCK PERFECTLY. i usually get a little closer to the rocky outcrop on the other side and huck as far as i can back to the dock. it works!
