I took my canoe down to Greenlake to explore the lake a little - I have fished off the bank for years, but never been out on the lake - I am glad I did! I trolled nightcrawlers around from 12-3 and ended up hooking up with 4 total. 2 to hand, one to the boat and one lost before I could get a look. The three I got a look at were all between 14-16", got a picture of one but not the other because the batteries died on my camera. According to my little fishfinder all of the area I covered (between the island and the south shore) ranged from 10 - 19 feet deep and the water temp was 45. I found a deeper spot and still fished with a floating worm from 3-4 and didn't get a bite, By that time the rowers were out and wizzing by on each side of me, the rain clouds were coming in, so I called it a day. On my way in two bald eagles landed in the trees above me on the island to say hi - great photo op, if I would have had extra batteries..
