Well guys they are biting, caught two yesterday and 2 every time I've gone out in the last two weeks. Finding the 16 in average cut throat. I'll be out there all year.
The bass fishing was outstanding last year I lost one over 10 pounds got some 8 pounds out of there. The picture is 1 of two I caught in the best two hours of fishing in my life. I rent my boat there at the Offut lake resort and take off to one area that I catch the majority of my fish out of. I have to keep it secret but it is a small lake and you are bound to run across a big fish. To all those that are struggling out there my advice to you is stay in the 16 foot water for trout and shallow rocky shorelines for bass I throw a 5 1/2 in curly tale hula in watermelon seems to do just fine work it slow. I just found this site and will be on all the time.
