3/24/2008 10:00:00 PMIf they are newly stocked trout they aren't used to feeding off the bottom I would try a worm and bobber start at 3-4 feet and after an hour with nothing maybe drop down a little more.Good luck !!

if your fishin off the bottom, get some light line and a good amount of weight. Stand on the edge of the dock and whip out their as far as you can. Try to aim straight out!!! theirs a mud flat about 30 yards out the the fish just feed off of. I usually go out their on my 9' raft and catch fish all day long. ITS A HOT SPOT!
Oh i almost forgot buy some chartuese power balls their magical i tell ya.
Put enough on their so it floats the hook off the bottom and your set.
