Well the season finally started for me. After months of fishing in the cold and bass not biting I was determined to get the season kicked off. Well i was out from 10am - 3:30pm. About 3:00 they trout started boil going after what appeared to be may flies? So I started to cast my old faithful lure just past where they boils and bang. They trout fought like they where 4-5lbs but they where maybe a pound good size. Problem is I don't eat fish other than sturgeon. So I threw them back for some of you to catch another day. well the water was a little chilly and lots of people still fishing but the trout i caught weren't afraid to chase a lure. In closing a great day of fishing, and hope the season kicks off soon for you if it hasn't already.
