Weather cleared up enough to take boat out , hummingbird 797c2 marked fish at all levels but the bite wasn't on. fished 4 hrs tried different colors spinners and flat fish that usually work and no luck . Water temp is still 47-49 degrees so the bite is slow. Sure do like my new hewescraft 16ft sportsman the aluminum hull skims over water , Got a good deal on it at Cabelas and the Yamaha power system is awesome. This fish finder with quad beam , side view ,nav bundle give me total confidence in finding fish [but don't make em bite} well Mon I'm up on American lake then Tues over to Hamilton for the opener i will report on those day's when i return . If your @cabelas on week ends say hi I'm up in the hunting dept part time cause I'm a fishin full time.
