Got there around 9:00 AM or so. Saw Shad_Eating_Grin at the launch. Talked to him for a few minutes then went to the main dock so he could have the launch to himself. Caught two in about a hour off the dock. Shad came over to the dock and made a few cast he took off and I went to the launch. Caught three more in about 30 minutes, so I took off. They were all pretty small today 9 to 11 inches. It's getting slower and slower at Boren. You have to work for them pretty good. I was mostly casting at risers and staying shallow, most of my fish came after I saw one rise and I put the bait in its face. Almost time to switch over to warmwater fishing.

Wow, you must really like trout!? What do you do with all the meat? At this rate you will be stocked up for the summer :) Nice trout, and good luck-- "Silver Salmon"--Killer

Good to see you at the lake today, tnj8222. Glad that you caught the limit. I might try again next weekend.

patfitting: there is no list of year round lakes. Basically, the way it works, all lakes are open year round, unless the Special Rules section in the regs has a specific date of opening and closing for a lake. If a lake is not listed in the Special Regs, it means that it is open all year 365/24/7
