OK. So I was actually supposed to hit LW with Kuttkilla, but unfortunately change of plans late last night.

I instead decided to just enjoy the weather and try my luck at Boren. First time fishing anything else than LW. I got there at 11.00 and 5-6 other people were there + float tube flyfisher and smaller inflateable boat. I talked to a guy, who had been there since 9.00 with no luck. We did not see any risers, and nobody caught anything (as I could see) for the next hour. We did however witness a wedding on the dock.

Around 12.00 the other people on dock left, and I switched spot. I saw a school of fish and adjusted my bobber. From this point on it was RED HOT fishing. Caught 5 10' stockers the next 2 hours. I lost 4 close to the dock, and missed a bunch of strikes. Noboby on the other docks or on the lake were catching anything. I ended up limiting and headed home at 2pm. 3 guys came right when I was leaving. I showed them my spot, and within 5 minutes they were pulling in the trouts.

I was using a fixed bobber with a short leader with split and power trout worm.

I was kinda hoping to catch something a little bigger, but I assume 10 inches are normal for stockers? will be firing up the bbq tonight.......

Nice fish.
For stockers and 9-10inch is probably the average.

Were you the guy using the fake worms? If so, we didn't pull in any trout. I was using and orange and yellow F4 flatfish, got 9 bites in an hour, but couldn't land any of them! I got three of them out of the water and they through the lure as i was swinging them over onto the dock! Most frustrating experience ever.

Yep, that was me. I could have sworn that when I left I saw you guys pull one up. I even thought I heard cheers.. Oh well. At least the fish were there (-:

Haha those cheers were me screaming in agony because the fish almost literally fell off of the railings and back into the water

too funny. You should have used the worm i left you guys......well, you got to admit the spot was hot. I think you were using a treble hook right... I would have switched it to a single.... (-:
