Launched the dinghy around 4:30 and fished the entire perimeter until dark. Water temp was 50 degrees and there were no bass to be found. I tried the following lures: Small shallow-running crankbait, weightless senko, Mepps spinner, Roboworm (rigged weedless on an offset jig), 3/8 oz football head jig w/GY kreature trailer, small floating perch rapala.

On the bright side, those little stocker trout can't resist "old reliable" -- the floating perch rapala. At least I didn't get skunked. Hopefully the bass will start biting soon.

I talked to several people and nobody was having much luck today @ cassidy -- even the guys fishing with bait...

Yeah, I know a fella who lives out there, he said it's just been dead. Maybe once the water temp comes up a few degrees things will start to happen.

I love this lake for bass! Next time you might try weightless texas-rigged purple colored plastics on Cassidy. Especially Zoom lizards and Yamamoto Kreatures. Better luck next time!
