Well I headed up both mornings and fished for the nice weekend we were given. I didn't do all that good but I had a few. Saturday was hot and slow. I lost a 3lber at the boat and then went sight fishing a little and had a 4-5 messing with me and he just didn't think much and moved on so nothing Saturday and I only heard of 2 fish caught all day just small guys. Sunday (today) was better. Pitched to this log and felt the bite, dragged it a few inches and WAM!!! set the hook and he ran at the boat and I couldn't catch up to him and he got away at the boat about a 3lber. Then went in and talked to the local John and he had lost 7 and caught 6 biggest at 4lbs. so I went where he was and missed 1 and got 2 small keepers. But it was nice to have good weather on the lake with it being clear as I have ever seen it. I mean you could see bottom in most of the lake!!!!!!!!!! and found a few things that will be helpful and a friend of mine got a 4.9 right in front of me. He said it was just luck he was kickn back drinkn and his pole just sitting there!
