This lake is awesome. I caught two brown trout within minutes of fishing and it is just right next to town and I can't wait for the bass bite.

DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY TIPS FOR BASS??

yes the bass at liberty are biting!!!! just use soft platics and you should do well texas/carolina rigged should do the trick and if not just use a simple drop-shot rig im not sure on what colors to use on that lake but anything should work. i belive the bass are still too deep for and reaction baits slow is the way to go..

tight lines!

ANYWHERE IN THAT LAKE YOU SHOULD DO AWESOME BUT IF YOU HAVE A BOAT FROM THE PUBLIC LAUNCH LOOKING ACROSS THE LAKE FROM THE DOCK JUST HEAD RIGHT YOU SHOULD FIND THEM THERE

There can be reaction bites for Bass right now. I was trolling jointed Rapalas for trout in Liberty on 4/17 and caught two bass (and two trout). A 1 lb LGM and a 2 lb Smallie, the smallie fought great for being cold. The LGM was to the right from the launch almost to the boat cove in about 9' of water. The Smallie was to the left about where the sand meets the steeper shoreline in about 14'. And yes, they are both still swimming in the lake!

Good Luck
