Launched @ 4:00 pm and fished until 8:00. Have I ever mentioned that I really hate ski boats? I'm not a big fan of rap music either. The combination of the two was excruciating!

I caught ONE little kokanee while trolling a mepps. The main target was bass, but they were nowhere to be found. All of the fish marked by the fishfinder were in the top 2 feet of water and at least 100 yards from shore. Didn't see ANYTHING deep. At this rate, bass fishing won't heat up for at least two more weeks. They are still "hibernating"... somewhere.

I tried the following assortment of lures: Jig-n-pig, weightless senko, roboworm on a shakeyhead, various crankbaits, large & small spinnerbaits, mepps spinner, floating perch rapala, large tube (carolina rig), several dick nite spoons, and a variety of 1/8 oz marabou jigs.

There's a lot of suspended green goo in the water these days and it was sticking to my line. Underwater visibility is minimal. Hopefully it will clear up soon...

We haven't been able to locate smallies yet either. Fished stevens yesterday and washington today with nada. We need some consistant weather. This is driving me crazy!

At least you got out fishing, I've been stuck doing gardening things all weekend, except I have a load of Triploids in the smoker today.
Did you learn any new cRAP songs?
