Fished lacamas lake Sunday and Monday
Sunday: trolled in my boat back and forth in front of the boat launch on the moose lodge side, with a floating black/white rapala and caught one thick rainbow measuring just over 14 inches. i caught it about 20 feet out from the dock. my brother who was using the same rig had a fish on and it popped off at the boat. overall a good day of fishing. the lake was full of boats and float tubes.
Monday: Fished of the bank perpendicular to the moose lodge throwing everything but the tackle box and everything at least got a strike. my buddy Dylan caught two rainbows measuring 12" and 11" and he caught one brown measuring 13". my friend Tanner caught one brown measuring 14". I got my only strike on a orange #2 bluefox, he hit it about 20 feet from shore and i fought him into about 5 feet from shore and he popped off. overall highlights of the two days was when a nice fella fishing next to us fell off the water pipes stretching across the bridge, but he went home, changed, and came back and he caught several small stockers on powerbait.
The attached photo is the one fish i caught on Sunday.
