Camped and fished the Quincy Lakes area over the weekend.

Quincy was the busiest, heavy pressure and lots of stocker trout. Fly fishing was successful (small streamers and soft hackles), as were most gear techniques (power bait used by most anglers, dick nite worked for us, worm under bobber). Wedding Ring and worm turned up some fat egg-laden perch as well. Picked up a few sunfish here and there. Lots and lots of pressure on Quincy. Largest trout was 14", two in the 9" range, the rest were carbon copy 10" stocker fish. Kept two deeply hooked fish for shore lunch, turned the rest back.

To the south, Burke had somewhat less pressure, still lots of activity - we spent a short time here, saw a bass working over some fry, lots of stocker trout rises. Saw a few heading out for walleye on Evergreen, virtually no pressure here, did not hear a report.

Light pressure on Stan Coffin, we tried for bass but didn't see fish nor did we get any bumps.

Enjoyed some beautiful hiking and a gorgeous weekend - awesome conditions Sunday especially!
