New to the forum. I went out yesterday and got skunked using 6 lb and rooster tails. I switched today to a gold kastmaster and 4 lb and hooked over a dozen fish. Small planters that were fun. Sky was overcast and I found trolling the south side of the lake most productive. The only reason I stopped was because my arms got tired of rowing all over the place. I covered every inch of the lake at least 3 times. Most fish were 8 - 10" and a couple flew out of the water when I was bringing them in. I stayed about 30' from the shore and released everything I caught. I plan on going back tomorrow if my arms can take it :) A very fun day and a great workout. Only about 5 boats on the lake and about 15 people on the dock by the time I left at 5pm.
