38 inches BABY!!!
I was tossing some bucktails with no luck. Then switched to my wooden pikie....a few casts later I had the first follow, not aggressive, almost more curious. This tiger came all the way to the shoreline and stopped 2 feet from me(no BS) I tried several lures after that. Remind you, this tiger is still right next to me. I tried a figure8 all around him, hardly moved. I then started casting way out. To see if I could get his attention another way. Well I hooked up with a muskie on my Blue Rapala Magnum on a fast retrieve. Not much of a fight though, but still worth it. When it was over...the other muskie was still there. Maybe I made a new friend(LOL) I was a little worried about the release...the fish was out of the water a little longer than I would have preferred. However, I worked him gently and he swam away on his own. My cameras batteries were dead...so I'm a little irritated. So I'm hitting the same spot tomorrow and bringing back PROOF.

38 inches isn't big...but sure feels nice to tuck this one away.

Congrads Kevin! I am just wandering, do they charge money to launch the boat at the park?

Awesome Kevin!!! How cool. I'm smiling for you right now! Hopefully this will be a trend for you! No luck with my pike trip- fished in Coeur D'Alene Idaho- no luck yet this year but they are getting ready to spawn. Last year I caught a 42 inch about this same time, I'll keep you posted. I bet you are just jacked about the follow and the catch, I'm totally jealous still trying for my first. :) But you give me hope. Take care- Ps- thx for forwarding my address to Jana.

To bad about the pike trip. They'll grow a little bit bigger for next time.

Great work Kevin, maybe someday I will have to try that fishery out. There is one problem with the abundance of fishing in this State. Too many different fisheries, not enough time! Congrats!!
